The Clap (Autonomous Deliverymens Collective in Paris ) is a collective created in Spring 2017 in response to the growing precariousness of riders in large meal delivery platforms. It announced in February 2020 its transformation into a trade union.
CLAP is a whistle-blower, organizer of mobilization and awareness actions. It acts as national press agency for delivery workers. It organises lobbying actions and conferences. It is involved in the collection of occupational accident compensation, and guides workers toward labour court actions. CLAP advises, supports and coordinates regional deliverer collectives.
CLAP is one of the collectives having participated in the creation of the Transnational Courriers Federation's in November 2018.

Digital Platform Observatory

The digital platform observatory is a joint initiative of ETUC, IRES and ASTREES, funded by the European Commission. It brings together trade unionists, experts, activists, specialists of workers representation and collective action in the  platform economy.
