The Riders Union FNV was created on the initiative of the Deliveroo couriers, with the support of the youth union FNV Jong. The Riders Union defends the rights of bicycle couriers. It calls for measures in favour of safety, quality of work, as well as the coverage of couriers by a collective labour agreement. It opposed Deliveroo's use, starting summer 2017 , of service contracts in replacement of employment contracts.
